Samuel Koch and wife visit VfA and plan a documentation about Uganda

27.08.2019

From 11th to 16th of this month Samuel Koch (who became famous through the dramatic life-changing accident live in front of the camera at the German TV show „Wetten, Dass...“ in December 2010 with millions of viewers) and his wife Sarah (actress) were our guests in the African Village Hotel to get to know Vision for Africa better and also to collect film material for a documentary they plan to make about Uganda. In VfA they attended the Sunday service where Maria preached, they made a visit to the High School in Nakifuma and drove to the Prayer Mountain. From VfA they continued to the Murchison Falls and explored further parts of the country. Samuel and Sarah also couldn't resist making a Boda-Boda tour (motorbike taxi) and visited the source of the river Nile.

The couple was joined by a film team of two people and a friend.

Details about the documentation could not be shared yet, however the main focus will be giving insight into Uganda's current development state, show different perspectives and present solution approaches. We are looking forward!
